SC2002
Program Content Deadlines Extended to May 3
BALTIMORE, April 25, 2002 Due to popular demand, the final deadline
for submitting technical papers, tutorials and panels for SC2002 has been
extended one week to Friday May 3. In addition, the SC2002 Education Program
deadline has been extended to May 30 to give educators more time to form
teams.
The deadline for submitting research exhibit requests remains Friday,
April 26, while the deadline for poster submissions is July 29. SC2002,
the annual conference of high performance networking and computing, features
the theme "From Terabytes to Insights," and includes seven days
of technical programs, technological demonstrations and exhibits, and
educational outreach. The conference convenes Nov. 16-22 at the Baltimore
Convention Center.
SC program submissions are now being accepted via the Web for panels,
posters, technical papers (extended abstracts), and tutorials. The submissions
pages can be accessed from the SC2002 Technical Program Web page: . Each
technical paper submission must also identify the prize category for which
it is to be considered, such as the Gordon Bell Award.
SC2002 will bring together scientists, engineers, systems administrators,
programmers, and managers to share ideas and glimpse the future of high
performance networking and computing, data analysis and management, visualization,
and computational modeling. The conference is sponsored by the Institute
of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computer Society and by the Association
for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Architecture.
