SC2002 Attendees Can Create Personalized Calendars on Website
BALTIMORE, October 1, 2002--For the first time in the history of the SC conference series, technical program attendees at SC2002 have an online calendar they can use to customize their personal schedule. The online calendar, which debuted Monday (September 30), provides an easy way to navigate through the 67 technical papers, 31 tutorials, five plenary sessions, six panels, 32 poster presentations, 16 Masterworks sessions and 25 Birds of a Feather programs currently scheduled.

The online calendar is created so that after picking the sessions you want to attend, the information is compiled and sent to you via email for storing on your laptop or PDA. The calendar will be updated about once a week as needed, and will remind attendees to update their personal agendas just before heading off to the conference, which will be held Nov. 16-22 in Baltimore.

To use the interactive calendar go to the main SC2002 website at and click on "Interactive Calendar" in the menu bar on the left side of the page. To register for SC2002, go to . About SC2002 SC2002 brings together scientists, engineers, visualization artists, programmers, and managers to share ideas and to glimpse the future of high performance networking and computing, data analysis and management, visualization, and computational modeling.
