The Baltimore Convention Center is centrally located downtown. Walkways connect many downtown hotels and the Inner Harbor, with its colorful shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions, such as the National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center. Oriole Park at Camden Yards, built in the style of the great stadiums of the past, is just across the street, and other popular attractions and hotels are within a short walking distance. With its waterfront location, outstanding public transportation network, and close proximity to New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, Baltimore qualifies as a prime destination for convention goers.
